"United" States?

United flight: Cleveland to Denver.
Flight attendant over the intercom:
"Sign up for 'United Explorer Milage Plus' and receive 60,000 miles plus 5,000 miles. That's enough for a trip from the United States to Hawaii."

Please tell me that the pilot did better in Geography than the flight attendant did.
