Hands Off

Laramie joined  much of the rest of the world in protesting the actions of the current administration today. The original plan was to meet in front of the Court House on Grand Avenue between 5th and 6th Streets. The crowd was large enough to extend to both sides of Grand and stretch from 4th to 7th. Someone doing a count estimated close to 1,000 people.

Participants were respectful of property and refrained from blocking the drives of businesses and homes. Indeed, it was much calmer than when our representative to Congress had her town hall meeting here a few weeks ago.

Penguins were popular images on posters as was the slogan "You can't spell Felon without Elon". Another popular slogan was "Foxtrot Delta Tango" and in Morse code  ..-. / -.. / -   I think my favorite was "I don't know where to begin".
